Everson Ndlovu is a performer/director whose 1st mainstream show was ‘All Systems Out of Order’ at Theatre in the Park in 2004. The production travelled to Zambia for April theatre festival in 2005 and he was awarded the Best upcoming actor for his role and in 2005 a NAMA nominee for best actor with the same role in Zimbabwe. He studied Performing Arts at Theory X Media Initiative for 3 years. In 2009 he featured in ‘Allegations’, a two hander which travelled to Edinburgh fringe festival in Scotland 2010. He directed a piece entitled, ‘Folktale Medley’ in 2010. Everson was an actor/creator in, ‘The bed in her Head’ an Arts lab production for HIFA 2012. The same year he directed ‘Sinner by Birth’ for University of Zimbabwe 3rd year final production class project. ’Allegations’ travelled again to Musho festival 2013 in Durban, South Africa where he was a recipient of the Special mention best actor award. 2013 he was part of the creative and performing team of ‘Standing in pairs’ which was collaboration between Arts lab and Tumbuka Dance Company performed at HIFA 2013 then travelled to Graham’s town festival. In 2014, Ndlovu performed a two hander entitled’ ‘She and He’ a collaboration of EDZAIISU Theatre Arts Project [ZIM} and Daughters of Yamaya {US}. ‘ME and MYSELF’ is a 2015 production written and directed by Everson Ndlovu. He took part in ‘Chirorodziva’ an Almasi 2015 production as an actor/creator. He is an Instructor of Physical Theatre at Afrikera Professional Dance Training. These are some of the few major highlights within his career. Also Everson has vast experience in the Film and Television and Radio Industry.
